Did you know that Child Marriage is still legal in California and 42 other states? Did you also know that between 2000 and 2018, 300,000 minors were married as early as 12 years old? Mostly young girls married to adult men.

Did you know that according to the FBI, California contains three of the nation’s thirteen High-Intensity Child Exploitation Areas—the Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego metropolitan areas?

Over 45 million children ages 10 through 17 use the Internet. Among them:
One in five has been sexually solicited.
One in four has encountered unwanted pornography.

Global Hope 365 is dedicated to ending harmful practices toward women and girls such as child marriage, human trafficking, and other forms of gender-based violence.

Human Trafficking is preventable. We must interrupt the demand and supply equation and ensure that buyers face higher penalties and educate the public about the tactics used by human traffickers to groom, manipulate, and abuse women and girls.

We can end Child Marriage. Four US states have successfully banned Child Marriage. California CAN too.
